Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11/2/2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Ecomtoro ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you access or use our websites, applications, and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

  • • Account information such as name, email, and authentication identifiers.
  • • Billing information processed by our payment providers (we do not store full card details).
  • • Usage information including feature interactions, logs, device and browser data, and cookies.
  • • Content you submit to the Service (prompts, data sources, files), and AI-generated output associated with your account.
  • • Support communications and feedback.

3. How We Use Information

  • • Provide, operate, and improve the Service.
  • • Personalize experiences and develop new features.
  • • Process transactions and send related information, including confirmations and invoices.
  • • Monitor and secure the Service, including fraud prevention and abuse detection.
  • • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
  • • Communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and support.

4. AI Models, Data Handling, and Retention

We may use third-party model providers and infrastructure to process inputs and generate outputs. We restrict providers by contract and technical controls. We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described, unless a longer retention period is required by law. You may request deletion of certain data as described in Section 9.

Authorised Ecomtoro staff may review your conversations with the assistant, including the answers and the lookups behind them, to fix problems and improve answers. Each review is recorded.

5. Sharing of Information

  • • With vendors and service providers who perform services for us (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processing) under appropriate confidentiality and data protection terms.
  • • With Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads) and Meta (Meta Pixel and Conversions API) to measure visits, sign-ups and purchases from our ads, only if you accept analytics or marketing cookies in the cookie banner. For purchases we may send Meta a hashed (unreadable) copy of your email address and account id so the purchase can be matched to the ad. You can change your choice at any time under Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
  • • If you signed up through an affiliate's link, we tell that affiliate that a customer signed up and what they earned from your payments, never your name or email. The affiliate link is remembered in a cookie only if you accept marketing cookies; otherwise only when you sign up in the same visit.
  • • With third-party integrations you authorize.
  • • In response to legal requests, to protect rights, property, and safety, and to prevent fraud or abuse.
  • • In connection with a business transaction (merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets) subject to standard confidentiality protections.

6. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information transmitted through the Internet.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, and to data portability. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We will respond to requests as required by applicable law.

8. International Transfers

If we transfer information internationally, we will implement appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other mechanisms recognized by applicable law.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and for legitimate business purposes. You can request deletion of certain data via [email protected], subject to legal and contractual requirements.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective indicates your acceptance.

12. Contact
